Hi ppl,
this is my first post so pls dont bear me :)
Its a while that Im tryng to install kolab on a slackware(was 9.1 now 10),
but seems that nothing works...
I tryed to install from the source but no way, so now is the time of
kolab-20040217-2.0.0 from zfos.
After a lot of test what I see was that the openpkg-2.0.0 that was included
into the tarball didnt compile at all ..
so what I did was simply to use a kolab-20040217-2.0.0.tar from
ftp://ftp.zfos.org/brew/kolab/SRC/kolab-20040217-2.0.0.tar
and to upgrade the openpkg version from
ftp://ftp.openpkg.org/release/2.0/UPD/.
Then after setting the right openpkg version in obmtool.conf .

root at Slack10:/prove/kolab-20040217-2.0.0#sh obmtool kolab

But after a while this error appear on a gcc-3.3.3-2.0.0.src.rpm .

c-semantics.o c-objc-common.o c-dump.o libcpp.a main.o libbackend.a
../libiberty/libiberty.a
/kolab/bin/ld: libbackend.a(insn-recog.o)(.text+0x401c822): reloc against
`recog_data': error 2
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [cc1] Error 1
make[1]: *** [stage3_build] Error 2
make: *** [bootstrap-lean] Error 2
error: Bad exit status from /kolab/RPM/TMP/rpm-tmp.99498 (%build)
Any idea?
tnx in advance
Vito

The trouble with being punctual is that people think you have nothing
more important to do.
