I like this idea :-) Except that maybe some filetypes will not support the
same kind of commenting.

For example:
Perl uses #
Bind use ; or //

Probably safer to delete them, another option would be to have a META entry
like: META_COMMENT = #
if META_COMMENT is not defined the META data will just be deleted...
