Kontact has some issues with characterset conversions when using the new format.
Two things that don't work, and that are probably the same bug:

1. Create a new contact and use non-ascii characters in the name.  Exit and
restart kontact.  Now the name is shown wrong.  In my case it's an utf8 byte
sequence interpreted as latin9.  The contents of the mail on the imap server
look correct.

2. The same as 1. but with a calendar entry.  Doesn't matter whether you created
that entry locally or got it as an invitation from someone else.
