Hi,

What about splitting off a CVS commit messages list
from the developer list (or the one(s) that finally replaces it
accoordingly to the results of this thread discussion).

The (hand-written developer e-mail messages) traffic in the list
will probably grow in the following weeks given the high exposure
the project is having so it would be nice to have it separated
from the messages automatically generated by the CVS server. Both
types of messages are at different level's of detail and the
'distance' between them will grow as more architectural topics
are treated here.

IMHO It will also help the people wanting to perform some search
on web archive (IMHO it looks too mangled now).
