<h1>Roadmap</h1>

This roadmap lists the main development goals and estimated
dates of release.

put on the todo list of the developers they should be listed

<h2>Kolab 2.0 release series</h2>

Current release is: 2.0.0 (June 20th, 2005)

<h3>Upcoming release 2.0.1</h3>

Expected: August 2005

<ul>
<li> Switch to OpenPKG 2.4
<li> Additional language for web-admin: Italian.
<li> Improved deletion handling
</ul>

<h3>Post 2.0.1 releases</h3>

The maintenance of the 2.0-branch includes security fixes and
possible upgrades of OpenPKG.

<p>
Other fixes and some feature improvemtents (perhaps backports from
HEAD) may occur depending on the needs of the users.

<h2>Upcoming Kolab 2.1 release series</h2>

This development takes place in HEAD. So far
no release has been created.

<h3>Upcoming release 2.1beta1</h3>

Expected: September 2005

<ul>
<li> Switch to OpenPKG 2.4
<li> Simple version of multi-email-domain support<br>
     (accept mail for more than one domain and have accounts in different
     domains and a new class of maintainers that are restricted to maintaining
     users within a fixed set of domains within the limits of what we can do
     with LDAP ACLs)
<li> Meta-Templates
</ul>

<h2>Future Kolab 3.0 release series</h2>

Actual development has not startet yet.

     (LDAP structure to have subtrees for each domain etc.)
