<p>I tried to remove roundcubemail package completely and reinstall it, that allowed installation of latest roundcube, however the system failed to operate because of a PHP error.</p>
<p>As I inspected further, looks like the Centos 7 packages for Kolab still run on php 5.4, whilst roundcubemail 1.5 requires minimum php 5.6 - as far as I've seen the mentioned error occurs exactly because of that.</p>
<p>Upgrading php from other sources than Kolab OBS is not possible because it uses several modules built especially for Kolab, which fail to load if they are not in built for that specific php version. Tried to upgrade forcefully but that resulted in a broken system, which I had to restore from backup.</p>
<p>The rest of the system can be kept up to date with:</p>
<p>yum update --exclude=roundcube*</p>
