<p>So I found a workaround if anyone else wanted to know.</p>

<ol>

<li>In Kolab go to click the gear Icon and choose manage folders.</li>

<li>Select the task list you wish to change the colour, in folder properties change it from tasks to calendar (Note: the default task folder won't work).</li>

<li>Go to the calendars section and edit the new calendar colour.</li>

<li>Click the gear Icon and choose manage folders.</li>

<li>Re-select the task (now a calendar) and change it back to a task folder.</li>

<li>Re-sync to your mobile device.</li>

</ol>

<div>So we are using the android task app <a href="https://github.com/dmfs/tasks/">Tasks</a> and <a href="https://github.com/bitfireAT/davdroid">DavDroid.</a> This app (and many like it) inherit task colours from the task calendar colour, as there is no graphical way to change the colours (in kolab or DavDroid) I was wondering if anyone knew how to do it manually? I thought I might be able to do it using cadaver but as of yet have been unable to figure out how.</div>
