'ldap-server' is provided by the 'slapd' package. See the
"Provides:" section for the output produced by:<br>

This probably the package that must be uninstalled to avoid the
conflict with 389-ds which kolab-ldap wants to bring in.<br>
<br>
Btw, I was mistaken before. The '389-ds' package (with its
dependencies) does not provide 'ldap-server'. It simply satisfies
the dependency of either '389-ds' or 'ldap-server' called out by the
'kolab-ldap' package.<br>

The 'kolab-ldap' package depends on the '389-ds' package which
satisfies the generic 'ldap-server' dependency. <br>
<br>
If you install the 'kolab-ldap' package after uninstalling any
other package which satisfies the 'ldap-server' dependency (e.g.
openldap), it should automatically bring the required '389-ds'
package in with it. I'm assuming, of course, that you're using a
package manager that handles dependencies such as 'apt-get',
'aptitude' or 'synaptic'.<br>

wabadmin because of the ldap server was openldap and there
