Scott,<br>
<br>
good morning. Being new to the mailing list, I don't know if it is
inappropriate to answer to you directly. If it is, I apologize and
please let me know.<br>
<br>
I went through the whole section
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://docs.kolab.org/howtos/secure-kolab-server.html">https://docs.kolab.org/howtos/secure-kolab-server.html</a>) and now all
http: requests are being redirected to https: but the
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://server/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync">https://server/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync</a> brings just an empty
page. What to do next to get activesync to work?<br>

and Gentlemen,<br>

I want to run a kolab behind my private firewall (behind
the internet modem) and do not come from the system
administrative background. So far, a friend helped me to
set up a kolab 3.3 installation on Debian Wheezy. Now I
would like to do it on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server.<br>
<br>
I have set up a FQDN on a DNS-Server (bind9) for a local
domain and forward and reverse DNS work. The kolab
installation is to run on a KVM VM (host: Ubuntu 14.04
Server, guest: Ubuntu 14.04 server). "sudo aptitude
install kolab" went fine as did "sudo setup kolab". System
comes up nicely, web admin and roundcube do beautifully.
What does not work is syncroton. When I go to <em><a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://yourserver/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync"
rel="external" tabindex="-1" target="_blank">http://yourserver/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync</a></em>
I just get a blank page. <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://" rel="external" tabindex="-1"
target="_blank">https://</a> says, that it can't
connect. Following this link <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://kolab.org/blog/tobru/2013/03/19/kolab-3-and-activesync"
rel="external" tabindex="-1" target="_blank">"http://kolab.org/blog/tobru/2013/03/19/kolab-3-and-activesync"</a>
I did the "sudo aptidute install kolab", then "sudo <code>apt-get
install kolab-syncroton</code>" and had to notice that
kolab-syncroton was already installed. /var/log
roundcubemail is a directory and empty. So I can't get any
information from that.
/user/shar/doc-kolab-syncroton/syncroton.sql does not
exist.<br>
<br>
So I am stuck and kindly ask for help.<br>
<br>
Thanks,<br>
