Hi,
i struggle with the same problem right now.
But, mine is a little bit different than yours.
I create a shared calender and allow some users to admin the
calendar and some ro.
So far so good.
After invitation mail sent, the event has been added to the local
personal calendar. (roundcube)
When i change the event on the shared calendar, both events
double.
On the shared and on the local calendar. I think this is a bug,
but i must track it down to get the root cause.
This will take some time.
Will report back.

I believe your goal is not possible.

When you modify an event the old one is deleted and a new
Event is beeing created. As you denied the deletion via access
rights it is only possible to create the new event but it is
impossible to delete the obsolete one, which causes the double

Hi,

I've just installed Kolab on Ubuntu 14.04 and all seems to
work correctly.

I've created a shared calendar using "Kolab Web Admin --
Share folders" and I setup access rights.

My need is to have some users that can create, modify and
delete events (even created from other users) and some other
users that can't delete events.

The problem is here. If a user try to modify an event
created from another user then the same event appears two
times: the original one and the modified one. Why?

Also, which permissions do I need to specify in order to
achieve my goal?

Thanks
