You must mix information from the "Backups_for_kolab2" and

the "upgrade procedure" from the README distributed with the sources.

Question.  Is it possible to backup the data from the previous version, and

restore it to the new system?  Or am I going to have to re-enter all the

information by hand?  I do not trust the hardware that the original Kolab

installation is on, and I need to get it off of there as soon as possible

Ok, let me try this again.  I *think* I may have found the problem, and

it looks like I will have to start over again.  It would appear that

during the installation, the *NEW* installation could see the *OLD*

Kolab installation, (even though they are on different networks, and 2

firewalls between them), and it is using a little of both of them. 

When I discovered this, and I shut down all access from the new server

to the internet, I get a lot of failed services when I attempt to start

Kolab.  <br>

Oh, and after I had disconnected the new server from the internet, I

was actually able to log in via several users to the Horde login.<br>

I suspect that this has everything to do with ALL the problems that I

have had attempting to install Kolab on this server.<br>
