The owner of /kolab/var/imapd is kolab-r. Full rights for the owner.
Should I log in as kolab-r before running this script? I was trying

Ok, some things just jumped out at me:<br>
1. Asking whether I need to log in as kolab-r before running this
script wasn't a very good question considering that the line in
question starts with su - kolab-r.<br>
2. Based on that, I didn't really need to look at the wiki to get the
answer, but I did anyway. And saw:<br>
3. In the "Components" section of the wiki, it talks about backing up
and restoring the list of mailboxes. But in the "Playback" section, it
leaves out the restore line which has been giving me trouble above.
Being the eagle-eyed person I am, I added it. It now occurs to me that
the person who wrote the wiki probably meant not to put that in, that
it is not needed if <br>
rsync -avz backup/imapd/ /kolab/var/imapd/<br>
correctly restores mailboxes.db.<br>
Have I finally seen the light?<br>
