Run shell script on email recieved

[Dugite-Code]

I want to run a script (probably python) when one of my email addresses
receives an email with the ultimate aim to get push notifications for my
phone. 

So far I have tried several methods of adding lines to postfixes
master.cf 

eg: http://unix.stackexchange.com/a/179256 [1] 

but my simple shell script witch runs: touch /home/user/test.txt is
never executed. 

Ideas?
