Sync /seen flag from server to devices connected via ActiveSync possible?

Multiple Email folders via ActiveSync are supported in Android since 2.x or 3.x I guess. I started using Activesync with a 2.3 device and it worked at that time. However, multiple calendar support (crucial for collaboration) was introduced officially with Android 4.4.

The „ext_devices“-solution in syncroton should be changed from being an opt-in to an opt-out list for legacy devices. The Galaxy S 5 for example calls itself „SAMSUNGSMG900F“ instead of „Android".

That being said, I am still stuck with my flag changes not being synced. It is not a problem with the device, as I am also connected to a Zimbra server and it works perfectly there.

I switched on debugging for syncroton and I came over several strange issues (phone is set to push):

- When receiving an email via IMAP, it takes up to 5 minutes for syncroton to notify the device although the „ping“ messages show up in the log
- Update requests seem not to be handled properly. When flagging an email as „read“ on the PC, the phone shows „0 unread messages“ after a forced sync. The email remains flagged unread though.
- In general, syncroton seems only to react on server-side changes if forced, and client-side changes (update) are ignored at all...

Are there any settings that could influence syncroton’s behavior (cyrus, wallace, php,…)?

Thank you for your support!

Konstantin
