Upgrade kolab 3.0 -> 3.1 on ubuntu/debian

I am also wondering if there are any Debian users out there that have 
upgraded from 3.0 to 3.1.  The process has all but crippled my install 
and I was hoping for some insight into any problems that you 
encountered.
