I wonder how

Yes, I followed the Ubuntu instructions exactly, (including the PIN instruction for obs.olabsys.com <http://kolabsys.com/>) but it appears that Dovecott-imap got installed instead of cyrus.

When I check with the apt-cache command I get:

apt-cache policy cyrus-imapd
cyrus-imapd:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 2.5~dev2014082101-0~kolab1
  Version table:
     2.5~dev2014082101-0~kolab1 0
        501 http://obs.kolabsys.com/repositories/Kolab:/3.3:/Updates/Ubuntu_14.04/ ./ Packages
     2.5~dev2014011701-0~kolab1 0
        501 http://obs.kolabsys.com/repositories/Kolab:/3.3/Ubuntu_14.04/ ./ Packages
     2.4.17+caldav~beta9-3 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe amd64 Packages

Which looks right to me.

In the APT logs I don’t see any mention of cyrus, so I don’t think it got requested (for some reason) when I did “aptitude install kolab”.

Can I just "apt-get install cyrus-imapd" and then run "setup-kolab imap”?

Thanks,

Jeff
