Yes, that is the solution!
I have removed that line from my initMultiDomain script now, and no 
mailbox is created for the mailforwarding accounts anymore.
I only had removed the kolab_user_filter because there used to be a 
problem with kolab lm, but that seems to have been resolved properly 
upstream.

@Christian: this probably answers your last question in this thread as 
well!
