Getting started with syncing

My Nokia N9 won't sync with my Kolab server. I hope that some of you can help
me. I'm not sure what to do next.

I'm running Kolab on a Kubuntu laptop. Using Kontact on the laptop, I can
create contacts and calendar events on the server. Nothing seems to happen,
though, when I sync my phone with the server.

When my N9 attempts to sync, I get some new entries in some of the log files.
There are some errors in /var/log/syslog. I don't know if they are important.

/var/log/apache2/kolab_access.log:

I don't get anything in the z-push debug.txt file. I'm not sure where that's
supposed to be. I created one with the correct permissions and ownership in
each of these directories: /var/lib/z-push, /var/www, and /var/www/www-data/.
Also, I set WBXML_DEBUG to true in /usr/share/d-push/wbxml.php. All of the
debug.txt files I created are empty.

Other information that might be helpful:

LDAP seems to work. I get a reasonable response from ldapsearch on another
computer in my network. I don't have ldapsearch on my N9.

I can log into the kolab server's web page
(https://facteur.onespeeddave.com/admin/) from my N9.

When I browse http://facteur.onespeeddave.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync, I
get the expected output from the server:

d-push - Open Source ActiveSync
Version 1.5.3-1 (d-push)
GET not supported
This is the d-push location and can only be accessed by Microsoft ActiveSync-
capable devices.
