Losing LAN generated emails

Recently migrated to openpkg install of version 2.3. Seems like emails
generated on my LAN (reports from servers, cron jobs, etc) are disappearing.

I followed this "how-to"
http://wiki.kolab.org/What_is_happening_to_my_emails_where_are_their._Search_your_postfix_log_to_find_them
and found this in my lmtpd.log

[root at kolab var]# tail -f /kolab/var/imapd/log/lmtpd.log

According to the append_fromstage: entry, I should have message # 1041 in my
inbox, but it is not there. Mail fetched from my ISP is delivered fine.
Subsequent messages started numbering at 1042 (or one more than the missing
message in other cases).

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike
