Correct.

Well, yes. I did some tuning to get things flying. Mostly 
enabling caches in horde and configuring eaccelerator.
This gave quite a speedup to the usual operation.

System is a dual Xeon 5110 (1.6Ghz) with 4GB of ram. 
There is no other system load (or at least its not slower 
if there is a bit).

I think for just showing the login screen, it should not 
need to do any result fetching, right?
