stable outlook connector ?

As I mentioned in my previous email, technical support issues with the Insight Connector are handled through our support department. My support team does not moderate the Kolab list. I am subscribed to the list but also do not moderate it all day long. If you need assistance with a Bynari product, the "proper" method is to contact my support department.
The issue you mention below was opened yesterday. My QA department is actually working to reproduce this issue internally as we speak. There were some questions asked by my technician that were not completely answered in Andreas' last response. To speed up the resolution process it helps if all questions can be answered so that we do not have to repeatedly ask for information.
Might I also ask how you resold the connector to another party? You are not listed as a reseller of Bynari products. Reselling products without a reseller contract "in force" is a violation of the End Users License Agreement (EULA).
I also see that your Annual Support and Maintenance (ASM) agreement is expired. I have asked my team to continue to work with you to resolve this matter - even though you do not have current ASM.
The bottom line is that, my team is "bending over backwards" to work with you; to better the product, to the benefit of all. All that I ask is that you work with us rather than using this user's group as a sounding board.
>From this point forward, I am referring all technical issues with the Bynari Insight Connector to the proper channel - my technical support department.

I cannot agree your statement below!
Our customer is very impatient of the buggy connector!

The reason for the remote sessions with you is as much a courtesy as it is valuable for us. What can be seen in one remote session is often times more valuable than multiple days and multiple emails. I am the one that instructed my support team to request remote support to speed up the support process. It is also very valuable to us to see what is happening on a client's workstation - especially since it is not reproducible on our side.
> The behavior you mention sounds to me like it could be a relatively small issue that can easily/quickly resolved, if you would simply interact with my support department.
> Regarding item #3, that ticket was from November of 2009. As I said, many changes have taken place with the product since then. We had not released a new version since Oct-Nov 2009 so that we could focus on getting some of these serious issues resolved.

>> Hello Thomas,
>> I saw your post in this forum today and wanted to respond to you personally. Before responding to you, I wanted to verify your issue with my support and QA departments. I do see where you have an open support ticket with us. I also see that you have stopped responding to their attempts to contact you.
>> I would preferred to have taken this issue offline, so that we can get to the bottom of your issue. Without direct interaction from you I cannot be certain what the issue truly is. It sounds like it could be something as simple as a licensing issue. Again, to truly troubleshoot and resolve this issue, I would prefer we handle this through our normal support queue.
>> I can say that we do have existing Kolab customers with larger installs than what you alluded to in your post. I cannot say what the true cause of your issue is unless you allow interaction with my support team. I can assure of this, we will work together with you to resolve the matter.
>> All software has issues, we are no exception. Our Insight Connector 3 Kolab version has some significant issues with it. This is why we pulled it from our product lineup. I will also say that we have had some issues with the earlier versions of connector 4. My development team has spent the past several months working on stability and resolving top severity bugs. This is the reason why we did not have a new release for a couple months for Kolab (since Oct-Nov 2009) and only released it 2 months ago. There have been significant improvements in the product during that time. This is why I am so puzzled/concerned by your comments. From all of the reports I am receiving, this is the most solid version of the connector to date.
>> I would like to also state this, for the record; Bynari is committed to the Kolab community and building a connector that is stable, reliable, and performs well. This is our top priority. I am personally in charge of the development group and the direction of this product. I welcome constructive feedback to my direct email address from any Kolab user regarding the Insight Connector. I also urge you to work with my support department so that we can quickly and effectively resolve any/all issues between the Kolab server and the Insight Connector.
