That was almost deleted for me, so I'm forwarding it for others who might
have missed it. I suspect the recommendation will be along the lines of
using the OpenPKG system to minimize distribution-specific issues.

Subject: Opensuse 10.x Postfix/KolabFilter

Firstly my apologies if this has come up before I have tried to search the
archives, and been googling like crazy.
Someone has built Opensuse binaries – not openpkg of Kolab which I have
installed. Everything works – well I say that its very hard to test so most
things appear to work nicely. Anyway when I use mailx to send a test message
from the server console the email fails to deliver with the following error.

Command died with status 255: "/usr/bin/php5".
Command output: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function
    sys_get_temp_dir() in /usr/share/php5/PEAR/Kolab/Filter/Filter.php on line
    113

>From within Horde Client I am also unable to send emails – exactly the same
message, and the same when sending an email to the server from an external
domain.

I am sure there are other problems. I have checked my php has a tmp folder
set with what I believe to be the correct rights.

I would value some opinions or pointers on how I might resolve this, if
there is a previous mailing list post please can some one let me know.
Many thanks
