I don't believe that this is possible but I have to admit that I'm not
entirely certain. The default OpenPKG installation uses the libc from
the host environment which would prevent cross compiling. But there
might be options to allow that with OpenPKG. You might also try to ask
on their mailing list.

On the other hand I guess you could also compile on a dummy 32-bit
system first, save the binaries and install the real system from these
binaries.

I wouldn't count on a fast release. But I don't really have a good
overview at the moment. Still need to pick up after the holidays :)
