How to change the container where user entries are stored in LDAP

I am using Kolab Server 2.2 Beta 3 on Ubuntu 7.10 using the OpenPKG
distribution.

Kolab creates user entries in the LDAP base DN directly rather than in a
spearate container such as ou=people underneath it. This serves to keep the
Directory Tree organized because the same directory is to be used for other
things also.

I am integrating Kolab with GOsa. GOsa can be used to create Kolab users and
manage them. However, if a user is edited from within the Kolab management
web interface it is moved to the root of the base dn.

I have tried using the:

user_dn_list : ou=people,dc=ibnkhaldun,dc=com,dc=pk

in /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab.conf follwed by running /kolab/sbin/kolabconf but it
has no effect.

Any help would be appreciated.
