Not easy to change your mail client configuration everytime its IP change :-)
Maybe try to use its IP adresse to connect to instead of DNS name to avoid some
HTTP redirect

This is just define the address  receiving postmater, abuse ... emails
for the domain, not critical.

IMAP ? is imap working ? did you try a telnet localhost 143 ?
then "0 logout" to logout :-)

The admin interface update only LDAP, this is kolabd service, looking
for any LDAP change
that update the configuration. Is kolabd running ?
