proftp error LDAPHomedirOnDemand

Are you sure you can't use Kolab ?
I have exactly the same message and it seems to me that it means 
"proftpd can't correctly instanciate"...not Kolab.
As far as I am concerned, proftpd is not absolutely necessary to run a 
Kolab server. (and I don't know exactly whatfor it is usefull ;o))
A search in Google (LDAPHomedirOnDemand) brought me a beginning of 
answer...but just curiosity for this moment.
