Moving mails on the command line via cron.

Hi,

I'm looking for a command line tool to move mails stored on the Kolab server.

We have a support group-account here where all customer support is handled. 
Each mail to or from support at ... gets duplicated and is send to a shared 
folder which serves as an archive. This way our employees can see if another 
one already answered a support question and what he answered. As this folder 
grows and grows I would like to automatically move these mails into 
subfolders sorted by month.

I've read that it is not a good idea to just use "mv" to move these mails into 
a subfolder as the imap index is not updated. Do you know of any command line 
tool I can use to move these mails into subfolders with a cronjob?
