Hi All,

I have been watching the development of Kolab for some time now and
I have come to the conclusion that this can be a great product. As a stand
alone service, it thing it does well but to use this in an existing
environment, it looses its appeal. The reason for this is that Kolab it too
bundled. It doesn't integrate well with existing services like LDAP,
Apache, PHP, etc.

Would it be possible to provide a write up describing how to install and use
Kolab without the OpenPKG packaging requirement? Or at least, have optional
configurations depending on what you may need.

In a real office environment, I would like to only have one LDAP server.
Kolab should be able to use this server for its LDAP needs. Also,
supporting multiple domains would ensure an increase in usage in the
corporate environment.

Thanks,

John
