Assuming he's talking about Kolab 2, since it will be release RSN now and imho 
has production quality for some time now: Aethera will only work with Kolab 
1, not Kolab 2. 

However, Fabio, if you still use Kolab 1 and you have a chance of deciding 
now, use Kolab 2. It's massively more simple to install and administer, and 
brings a lot of advantages.

On Mac OS X, watch out of KDE 3.4(.1) via Fink.
