RFC 2142

Hi all.

I'm playing with a zfos kolab installation on a Fedora Core2, version
1.0-1.0.20-cf1.0.4

In this installation there is only partial support for RFC 2142 "Mailbox Names
for Common Services, Roles and Functions"

	http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2142.txt

Specifically, standard installed /kolab/etc/postfix/aliases only cover

	postmaster
	hostmaster

redirecting them to root.
Pheraps, root is redirected to /dev/null...

The side effect of this configuration is an e-mail bounc for all the RFC 2142
mailbox names except postmaster and hostmaster, but e-mail sent to this two
roles simply are not delivered to anyone but are wasted.

As long as this RFC cover some very important common roles as postmaster,
hotmaster, abuse, etc., I suggest to change root redirection to some
intelligent carbon based life form [;-)] and to add redirection to root for
all RFC 2142 common roles.

A resulting correct aliases file look like this:

	[...]
	## standard mail persons
	#hostmaster: root
	#postmaster: root

	## save unprivileged user storage of careless admins
	#root: /dev/null
	root: jdoe at acme.com

	#
	# RFC2142 common roles
	#
	info: root
	sales: root
	marketing: root
	support: root
	postmaster: root
	hostmaster: root
	abuse: root
	noc: root
	security: root
	#usenet: root
	#news: root
	webmaster: root
	www: root
	#uucp: root
	ftp: root
