The version of the Kolab engine installed by default with the ZfOS release 
(i.e. the Code Fusion engine) has the shared folder functionality disabled. 
You're actually the first person we've seen who wants to use them :-)

My suggestion to you would be to obtain a Kolab release from the kolab.org 
pages and use that, as this (i.e. the Kroupware) engine has support for 
shared folders (at least, in theory). The kolab package in ZfOS also ships 
with the Kroupware engine - you can use this instead of the Code Fusion 
engine if you install the kolab RPM with the "--with=genuine" option set (you 
should see this if you look in obmtool.conf).
