Two mail handling issues

Hi all,

I've got two questions regarding the handling of mail.

I'm not sure if the first is an issue with Kolab or kmail, but I have had a
hard time creating folders and putting mail into subfolders located on the
kolab server. I tried a couple of times since bringing up the Kolab
installation, and always got permission denied. Well, because of several
shortcomings with kmail (like the lack of auto filtering), I have been
experimenting with Mozilla-Thunderbird. I was able to successfully create
subfolders under Inbox on the imap server and transfer messages, and now it
appears I can do it under kmail as well. The problem I have now is that the
filter settings in kmail do not appear to include remote folders. I can
filter messages to local folders, but not to ones on the mail server.

The other thing is with manual filtration. I have to select a batch (usually 8
or 9) of messages at a time and hit <Ctrl>J and it will segfault Kontact. I
restart the app and pick the remaining messages and filter them, and it
works. It just seems like a random occurrence. Has anyone seen behavior like
this?

But most importantly, is it possible to get auto filtration to work or is this
still in kmail's future?

Thanks,
