[Kolab-devel] Defaults files: kolabd and kolab-server

Hello,

Just looking at the /etc/init.d/kolab-server file after having seen a message
like this...

To enable kolabd, edit /etc/default/kolabd and set START=yes

...it appears that there is confusion about whether the above is the genuine
defaults file or whether it is actually /etc/default/kolab-server. From the
script:

NAME=kolabd
...
DEFAULTSFILE=/etc/default/$NAME
SCRIPTNAME=/etc/init.d/$NAME

Since the defaults file is then explicitly referenced as /etc/default/kolab-
server, and since the DEFAULTSFILE and SCRIPTNAME variables are only
referenced in informational messages, the discrepancy doesn't seem to have any
functional effect, but it does obviously cause misleading messages to be
generated.

Should I file a bug for this or even attempt to submit a patch?

Paul

P.S. This was seen in the OBS development branch packages updated today.
