When can I expect to see this in kolab-3.0-development repo? Or can I 
attempt to install this myself?

I'm not sure that this is the problem. I've tried to manually edit the 
kolab-accept.ics file and removed the multiple lines in the description 
but Outlook continues to have the same issue.
