After updating my mail client to Kontact in SVN kdepim-3.5-branch I got 
problems with authentication to Kolabs sieve service.
When checking the svn-commits I found

The whole patch breaks Kolabs sieve service I had to change it back to 
revision 688531.

While this fixes for me sieve on Kolab (==Cyrus) this patch what applied to 
improve kiosieves support for
