OK, I'll ask the questions. I am using a version of kmail that seems to come from this tarball: kdepim-enterprise-svn20070926.tar.bz2. 

1) Is this an officially supported release?
2) How much testing goes into a tarball like this before a release?
3) Did you make any kind of announcement that this was ready to be used by end users?
4) Is this release stable enough for a business to run on?

The reason I ask is kmail completely quit working for me upon installing it. It did something to the config files that reverting kmail to the last known good copy did not work either.
