When you attach an mbox file to a mail in kontact, the content-type chose
automatically is message/rfc822.  That's not correct, as the mbox file is not a
message in rfc822 format.  The first line (From foo at bar...)is not a normal
header line, for instance. Plus, an mbox file usually contains many messages not
just one.
