I am getting the same symptoms, with kolab 2 beta 4 running on SuSE 9.2, is 
this a known issue? I have not checked saslauthd.log since today, when 
authentication began to fail for just one user after an upgrade, but it seems 
that it was doing this before the upgrade happened.
