No, I have no single clue why this should happen. Actually technically we 
could restart kolabd regularly because it does not keep much internal state.

Next time this problem happens please try to debug it further.

Maybe http://www.perl.com/pub/a/2004/06/25/profiling.html is of some help in 
order to find the culprit.
