[Kolab-devel] [issue858] Parentheses in name cause KOrganizer address parser to fail

New submission from Henning Holtschneider <henning at loca.net>:

When inviting a user with parentheses in the username to a meeting, the address
parser will add the closing parenthesis to the email address. See the attached
screenshot for an example.

When you try to such an invitation, two situations can occur:

1. If the incorrectly parsed attendee is the first attendee, the error message
"You must specify at least one receiver, either in the To: field or as CC or as
BCC." appears and no invitation is being sent. If you close and restart
Kontact, a new message window appears with the invitation message body but with
empty To/Cc/Bcc fields.

2. If the incorrectly parsed attendee is not the first attendee, the invitation
list is correctly being generated until that point, i.e. the invitation is not
being sent to the incorrect attendee and all subsequent recipients.

We are running kdepim checked out from SVN yesterday on top of KDE 3.4.1
on Debian Sarge.
