Just thought I'd highlight this - we wanted to get FSL working with the 
daemon, however that looked like it was going to be quite an effort.

I then basically went and implemented this solution, which allows you to 
redirect the log output of kolabd and kolabconf to other locations, such as a 
file. Currently the 'syslog' and 'file' targets are the only log targets 
available, however we can easily add more in the future.
