I had a look at when the group/resource management script stores in it's 
calendar folder. Here is an example:

This is a Kolab Groupware object. To view this object you will need a client

The type is multipart/mixed, but there is only one part and no boundaries. 
Also, it seems that the freebusy script can't understand those mails.
