Hm, this still doesn't answer all questions. To make it short, here is what 
I'm wondering:

Is it correct that the client is intended to work only with newer zfos Kolab 
versions (including MySQL) or can I use it together with the good, old, 
stable Kolab 1.0.8 out of the Kroupware project?

PS. In the download area at Erfrakon 
http://www.erfrakon.de/projects/kolab/download/kolab-webclient/20031002/ 
there is an archive which can easily get installed into Kolab 1.0.8 by just 
expanding it into a subdir of /kolab. (Okay, one has to add a few lines 
manually to a config file, but this is far less than for the new version.)
