HOWTO migrate KMail client account to use a Kolab server

If you are using KMail (but not with IMAP!), this howto explains
how you can switch to a Kolab Groupware account.

(this procedure is not verified, please report if you can
verify it works or tell us what was wrong via mailing list)

- get an account for a Kolab server
Assume you get this username (note that there are no capital letters):
firstname.lastname at kolab.domain.example

- enter KMail configuration
- Identity:
- add new identity for Kolab server
note: currently, there is a bug (reported as Kroupware #287) that the
new identity is not used as a default, even if you set it to be
the default.
Therefore, you should better remove your old identity.
- Network:
- Add send entry:
Server: name of Kolab Server
Authorization: yes, enter your full username and passwd
Security: Test server and take what is proposed
- Add receive entry of type offline IMAP:
Name: Kolab
username: again your full username
server: kolab.domain.example
Security: test server and take what is proposed
Filter: yes, the server does support Sieve
(now hit OK, then sync and quit kmail. restart kmail, reenter config)
- Groupware:
- yes, switch on Groupware
- Groupware folder is Kolab->INBOX
(now hit OK; yes, please create the folders in INBOX).

- there is now a new menu item for configuring KOrganizer. Enter it.
- Personal:
- enter your email address (the full username)
- Timezone: make sure it is correct
- Group automation:
- Publish:
- Kolab Server: kolab.domain.example
- username: your full username
- password: don't forget
- yes, remember password.
- Receive:
- analog to publish
(now hit OK)

- KAdressbook: enter configuration and add LDAP entry:
kolab.domain.example
Port 389
Base DN: dc=kolab,dc=domain,dc=example
